Within this date range, your student will complete six 2-hour drive lessons and a 30-hour online course. These will be worked on concurrently. Registration for the online course will be sent out no later than the Friday before the start date. See further details: There will be a 30-hour online course for your child to complete. This class does not have a scheduled meeting time. They will be able to log in and out as they please. Once they begin the course, we give them 45 days to finish. The students may work up to 3 hours per day on this course if they choose to. Within the date range you signed up for, the driving instructors will be driving the students per week. Your child needs to be available to drive each week during the date range you signed up for. There will be six, two-hour driving lessons your child will need to complete with our instructor. They will meet in the parking lot of the location you registered for. The driving instructors will be calling no later than the week of classes starting, to schedule the driving lessons with parents over the phone. There will be set dates and times for these driving lessons. Please make sure your voicemail is set up and available for scheduling.
The following fees will be applied if any changes are made within two weeks of the course start date.
$50 transfer fee
$50 cancellation fee
Students who qualify for Free or Reduced lunch: Ankeny Schools require a parent and/or guardian to email or mail the letter you received from Ankeny Schools showing you are on free meals or reduced meals if you would like a reduction on your child’s driver education fees. You can call LeeAnna at 515-963-4964 for a copy of your letter or you can visit www.schoolcafe.com to print off a letter anytime. Once you receive the letter, you’ll need to email it to: [email protected] or mail it to: 9914 Swanson Blvd. Clive, IA 50325. We confirm the status with your child’s school 1 week prior to our course starting. If the status comes back differently than what we were informed of a parent/guardian will be responsible for the difference the school won’t cover. We will call you directly if the status comes back differently. To obtain this scholarship your child has to attend the school you signed them up for, for driver education.

Drive Times
Drive times will be scheduled over the phone. Our Office will send out an email with the drive time options to the parent email that was given on your registration application. Please add in [email protected] to your contacts to avoid not getting this email. You will then call into our office to request your choice. Please have more than one option out of the choices given that will work for your student.
